I've always found beauty in the play of lines and bold colors.

From the moment I could hold a pencil, I’ve been drawing. My formal education led me to major in painting and drawing in college. After graduation, I started my career journey as a production assistant at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, where I contributed to the creation of interactive exhibits. It was during this time, in the early 90s, that I first got my hands on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. As I honed my skills, I progressed to designing graphics for the museum’s immersive environments and hands-on activities, blending artistry with functionality.

After a 16-year run at the museum, which also included some freelance illustration and design, I transitioned to designing for the world of technology. I had a knack for organizing information and crafting easy-to-use digital experiences. Over the past 18 years, I've immersed myself in user experience design, shaping websites, intranets, and software platforms across a diverse range of industries.

While my UX Research and Design career demands much of my energy and focus, my love for art has remained steadfast. Now, I’m reconnecting with my creative roots. Drawing inspiration from my varied experiences and passions—from the pages of comic books, technology, travels, or the beauty of nature—I'm rediscovering an artistic expression.

I’m just beginning to embark on this journey and see where it takes me.
